All CWP staff participate in a comprehensive training programme, which equips them with up-to-date knowledge and skills to support teachers in the delivery of SRE. They are mentored and observed in class before being accepted as CWP consultants.

All consultants have up-to-date CRB checks. It is made clear to schools that CWP trainers are not acting in loco parentis and are not to be left solely in charge of any child or children.
